Wow I really haven't updated my website for a long time! Our laptop broke and it's taken this long to find time to get the software sorted on the new one! So much has happened in the last few months it has been very exciting! In February we moved to 'Colin' - that's our new house! It is awesome! My room is HUGE and the garden is pretty cool too! I can hear lots of people walking by as we are near the town and if Mum leaves the gates open I can even see them and bark at them! I usually bark even if I can't see them!
Mum bought me a sandpit and paddling pool to play in in the garden so that I don't dig up her new lawn! It's really good fun and I can hide my toys and treats in the sand! I will put some photos up later!
We have been doing lots of running and going out on the bike - although Mum
doesn't always take me on the bike because I'm too heavy - because Mum is doing
a bike marathon in June. She is trying to raise as much sponsorship as she can
so if you would like to sponsor her then you can at:

I remembered that I didn't tell you yesterday that Mum and Grandma took me to Suffolk Dog Day which was so much fun! There were hundreds of dogs there and I got to enter show classes like best dressed dog!! I had a great day!
I have had a really good day today. Mum spent the whole day doing the garden and I did my best to try and help her!!
Once we had finished working in the garden we went to the park and Mum took some pictures of me playing on the playground! (OK so I wasn't playing I just sat there while Mum took photos! But it was fun!
I am excited about my birthday on Tuesday! I saw Mum looking at her
Stephanie Mehanna puppy cook book. I think she might make me a cake or a
special birthday dinner!! Can't wait!!

Wow I have not updated my blog for such a long time!
We have been so busy I have not had time to use the computer!!
Since I last wrote on here my Mum has taken her exams, which she gets the results
for on Monday! I have also spent more time with my Grandad! Mum and Grandma went
to France in May and so I stayed at home with Grandad and Uncle Jasper and I even
got to go to work with Grandad one day!! A girl who works for Grandad looked after
me while I was at work. She was nice.
Unfortunately while Mum and Grandma were away my best friend Digby died. I was very
sad and so was Uncle Jasper as we both spent a lot of time with him but he died
peacefully which I suppose is a good thing. I still miss playing with him though.
When Mum got back from France she was
revising for her exams which meant she spent a lot more time at home with me
because she got time off to revise. Even though she was busy it was nice having
her at home during the day!
After she had finished her exams Mum went on holiday with some friends for her
birthday. I got to stay at home with Grandma and Grandad again! Mum didn't take
me on her holidays with her but she said she is going to take me away soon! She
wants to go to Wales to see her goddaughter Fiona and said she is going to find a
dog friendly hotel so that I can go on holiday! I can't wait!!
When Mum got back from Spain it was her birthday. I got her a Doofle toy and mug
which she really liked. Mum had a whole week off after her birthday and spent so
much time with me!
It is my birthday on Tuesday but because Mum is going to be at work in the day she
took me out today to choose my presents! I chose a new basket which was bright blue.
Mum preferred some of the other baskets we saw but I chose this one so she let me get
it! She also got me a matching blanket to go with it and a squeaky ball and bone in
the same colour. Mum said that I could choose some toys as well and I chose a duck that
looked like it was made from a mop, that was also blue, and another rubber bone but this
one is more tough. From Grandma and Grandpa I chose a giraffe but I won't get that until
my birthday!
As a special treat tonight Mum is letting me watch a DVD she got for me last week, 'Hotel
For Dogs'. Some people think its strange but I do sit and watch TV, I love anything with
dogs in.
My favourite films are Marley and Me and Homeward Bound, and I love watching Pet Rescue
with Grandma! Mum thinks that I will like Hotel for Dogs too!!
Better go now she's putting the DVD on!

Sorry I haven't been on here for a while we have been so busy! I have been in quite a
bit of trouble too as I ripped up the kitchen floor and chewed the kitchen wall, and
the wall half way up the stairs! Mum is not very happy but I am only a puppy!
Although as she points out I do have lots of toys which I could just as easily
chew!!
A few weeks ago I had a terrible terrible hair cut! It was only supposed to be
a trim but the silly woman cut all my hair off!! =( It is growing back slowly
but Mum and I were both very upset by how awful it is. I have posted some new
photos which were taken today but I am too embarrassed to post any of when it was
first cut!! It was just too bad!!
Here is a photo of me this evening. I thought it was about dinner time so I
climbed onto the coffee table because I saw my food bowl, but when I got there
it was empty. =( Mum did then fill it up for me though!
This is Alfie's 'Mum'. Sorry Alfie hasn't been online for a while we have been very busy
and haven't had much time to blog. Unfortunately Alfie may not be allowed back on
the computer for a while as he has been very naughty and has bitten/scratched a hole
in another wall, AND ripped up and torn the lino in the kitchen so he's in trouble
which is a shame because we were so proud of him getting on so well at puppy classes!!
I'm sure he'll be on here next week when he's had time to think

I haven't updated my blog for a while I have been so busy I have just not had the time!!
Mum and I have been staying at Digby's house since Friday as his family has gone on
holiday so we have been looking after him and his house while they are away. I have
to be honest Digby was my favourite friend but you can go off people very quickly!!
He is a nice dog but he has some pretty disgusting habits. He hasn't quite grasped the
idea of going in the garden when you need to "go" and instead decides to wee all over the
conservatory, and more importantly ALL OVER MY TOYS! I have found a solution to
this though as there is a sofa in the conservatory for us to sit on so I have been keeping
my toys on the sofa while I'm not playing with them! I have to be careful to remember as
Mum had to throw a couple of my toys away after Digby came to stay with us for a night and
I got two new Buddy toys today so I don't want them getting ruined!! Mum isn't too pleased
about his behaviour either as she seems to be spending most of her time mopping up after
him. He's disgusting!
It hasn't been all bad though as I have had fun chasing Digs' tail.... and when I catch it I try and
rip it off. He doesn't like that much but he's old and slow so there's not much he can do about
it although he does make some very strange noises! It has also been nice having our walks
together but as Digby is so old and has had problems with his legs he can't walk at the speed
Mum and I usually do but Mum has promised that when we go home we will have better walks
again and she even said we can go running!
We haven't been up to too much else but Mum has been off work for a week and a half now
and doesn't need to go back until next Monday. It has been nice spending so much time
with her although she went to Nanny June's funeral on Monday :-( and had to take Nanny
Joan and Grandad Fred to the hospital on Tuesday so she had to leave us with Steve the
painter and he doesn't really pay any attention to us. She has said she will take us
somewhere good tomorrow though, I hope it's the beach!!
I am very tired this evening so I will keep this fairly short! I have had a busy day
playing with Grandma and have been very sleepy this evening. Mum bought a grooming
table as I wasn't being very helpful when she wanted me to roll over or move so she
could brush my legs and belly but it's great and I feel much calmer standing on the
table being groomed!
Unfortunately we found out yesterday that Nanny June died. She was very ill and hopefully didn't suffer too
much but we'll miss her, she was very lovely when I met
her before Christmas. Mum is running the Race for Life to
raise money for Cancer Research UK on 8th July 2009. If you would like to sponsor her
you can do so at:
or if you would like to sponsor her but don't want to do it
online drop me an email and
she can collect cash donations offline!

I had a really good weekend. On Saturday Mum took me to see Nanny Joan and Grandad
Fred. When we got there Bunny and Auntie Kay were there and Auntie Kay's boyfriend
Richard was there too. I had not met him before; he seemed OK but he did laugh at
me which I didn't think was very nice!
After she had lunch with Nan and Grandad Mum took Bunny and I to a place called
Thorndon Country Park. It was great! We got very muddy and Mum had to sit in the
car brushing bits of leaf and spiky things out of Bunny's fur because she was too
embarrassed to take her back to Auntie Kay in such a state! When we got home Mum
realised that the lumps in my fur were much worse and she had to spend hours brushing
me and trying to get them out! Mum said we won't be going anywhere with so much wood
and leaves again!
We had a fairly relaxed day yesterday because Mum was doing some revision for college
but she also rewrote my entire website! She has written it all herself using HTML
coding whereas before she had used a template to help her with some of it! I think it
looks much better like this and am very impressed with how well has done! She has
started her own web design business so if anyone needs a website created/managed
contact me and I will tell you how to contact her about it!!
I have to give the laptop back now as Mum wants to do some work on her NVQ but I will
update my website again soon and hopefully Mum will get her camera out soon and take
some videos of me to put up!

I haven't been able to update my blog for a while as I jumped up at Mum while she
was on the computer and had some squash in her hand and I knocked it all over her
laptop and broke it. :-( She's got a new, bigger, better laptop now though!
I am very exctied as I have lots coming up in the next few weeks! On Saturday Mum
is taking me to Grays again and we're going to see Nanny Joan and then going to a park
somewhere and Bunny might come with us! Then Mum has one more week at work before she
has two weeks off!
On the first of Mum's two weeks off we are going on holiday to Wales. I am going to
meet Uncle Wayne who sent me my awesome treat jar at Christmas. Mum said I will also
meet Fiona, Cameron and Isabelle, and a dog called Dylan. I am really looking forward
to it as it will be my first holiday! Mum has also ordered me a special waterproof
raincoat as she says it always rains in Wales and I don't want to ruin my duffle coat!!
On the second week we will be in Felixstowe as Grandma and Grandad are going to
Tenerife, but Mum said we'll still get to do lots of things and spend lots of time
with Digby! I can't wait to have a whole two weeks spending all the time with Mum
(not that I don't like spending time with Grandma) because I miss her when she's
at work!
Our broadband is finally fixed!!
We got a new hub from BT and now it seems to be OK!
We had a lovely Christmas. I went to Grays on 23 December with Mum and Grandma
and we went to Nanny Joans house which was really nice, then we went to see a
woman called June who seemed a bit batty and I didn't really like it at her house
as there was a horrible thing Mum said was called a parrot and it kept making the
most horendous screaching noise! After that we went to see a lady called Dionne and
she was very nice. We had lunch with her and she let me play in her garden which
was such great fun there was some long grass which was so good to jump over!!
On Christmas Eve I spent a lot of time with Mum and we went and saw Digby for
the evening before opening our presents at midnight with Grandma and Grandad. I
got so many wonderful presents!! Auntie Tracey got me a bunny AND a bandana with
my name embroidered on it!! I love it and Mum said I look so good wearing it. Mum
got me a new collar, a bone game a puppy stocking and two toys. Grandma and
Grandad got me some blue poo bags that I wanted, a football and an elephant toy.
Auntie Kay and Bunny got me some special Christmassy treats which included some
cookies which are so yummy, I hid some behind the curtains but I must've eaten
them as I can't find them now. Uncle John got me a travel water bottle which will
be really handy!
On Christmas Day we went to Uncle John's house and Bunny and Bess were there
and Nanny Joan and Grandad Fred, and I got to meet Auntie Kay!! We had a great day
and I had lots of fun playing with my cousins. By the time we got home I was really
tired as Woody had come round to play before we went out.
Mum and I were going to go to a pub to watch Mum's friend Hannah play in her
band but Mum has tonsillitis so we just stayed at home watching DVDs and sleeping.
Today Mum took me to Ipswich. She took me to a pet boutique that I had not been
to before and she got me a new basket as I have grown out of my old one. I also got
a red duffle coat that matches Mum's coat! We're going ot look so cool when we go
out walking now! There are photos of me over Christmas and in my new coat and bed
on the photos page which we have just updated!
Our broadband is playing up so haven't been able to write much recently. Mum
and I have just got back from the hairdressers - Mum had her hair done I just sat
there and everyone told me I was gorgeous and was really impressed with how good
I was! Mum said I wasn't so good last night though... She had taken the baby gate
down so she shut the kitchen door when she put me to bed, there is glass in the
door but it's frosted so I couldn't see up the stairs like I normally can so I
screamed and screamed and screamed and screamed and screamed - from 11pm when
I went to bed until 6.30 when Mum decided she had had enough and needed some
sleep and realised ignoring me would not make me stop. She opened the door so
I could get into the hall and then she went to bed but she wasn't very happy!
She said that Santa will put me on the naughty list and not bring me any
presents if I do anything like that again so I am going to have to be on my
best behaviour now! This Santa guy according to Mum's songs knows everything!
One song said that he sees you when you're sleeping - sounds a bit odd but
Mum said he brings presents. Even if Santa doesn't bring me any presents I
had a look under the tree last night and I saw 5 presents for me from Mum
and I've seen one for me from Grandma and Grandad!
Mum took me to do my Christmas shopping yesterday I had already got presents
for Grandma and Grandad (Mums parents) and Nan and Grandad (Mums grandparents)
and Auntie Kay but yesterday I got the rest I needed for Bunny, Bess, Woody,
Digby, Kerry and Jasper. I hope they will like what I picked out for them!
Tomorrow Mum and Grandma are taking me to Grays to see Nanny Joan again.
I met her the first night I got Mum and she was very nice. I'm also going to
see two other people called Dionne and June, but I'm not sure who they are yet.
Hopefully they will be nice and there will be some treats :-)
Better be off now but if I don't get on here again I hope everyone has a very
Merry Christmas!!
I have been so tired the past few days but I woke up a bit today! Mum took
me over the field three times today, it was fun to get an extra walk at lunch time!
Tonight Uncle John came to visit and I'd not met him before, he was nice enough.
He brought my cousins Bunny and Bess with him. They were lovely and very pretty
but Bess was a bit under the weather so didn't see too much of her but got cuddles
with Mum and Bunny!!
Mum's Christmas shopping tomorrow I wonder what she's getting me...!!
Today Mum and I had a nice walk again and then I went with Mum and Grandad to a furniture shop to buy a filing cabinet. That wasn't that interesting but the woman in the shop really liked me and kept saying how gorgeous and lovely I am! Mum and I didn't make it in to Ipswich to do the Christmas shopping today so maybe next weekend, or we will probably end up doing it online!! We watched Wall E this evening which I found quite fascinating - there were some very strange noises - but Mum wasn't too impressed with it. Mum is going back to work tomorrow after a week off playing with me. I will miss her lots but I know that Grandma will look after me and play with me lots and maybe teach me something new.
I was having a good day today. This morning we went on a long walk and then played lots, I then slept in my fleecy basket while Mum did some tidying up and sorting out. This evening we watched X Factor and I am not impressed that Diana left as she was my favourite and I really wanted her to win. At least Joe won I'm a Celebrity last night. Not sure what I'm going to watch now both these shows are over though!! Tomorrow we might go Christmas shopping. I've never been to Ipswich, well not the town centre, so that should be good although I'm not sure the big shops there will be as tolerant as the shops in Felixstowe about Mum taking me in in my bag! If not we'll just have to go to Pets At Home... what a shame!!
I've had a good day today. Mum took me to the field before she had to go and
do an exam. I played by myself while she was out although Grandad popped in
to see me. When Mum got home we played some games and I had lots of fun walking
through my special door in the shed in the garden. After we'd played for a
while we just chilled out in the lounge snuggled under a duvet. Later on Mum
took me to Tesco while she got petrol but it was nice to get a ride in Bumble
as I quite like the heated seats. We watched I'm a celebrity with Grandma
and Grandad which meant I got lots of cuddles :-)
Mum has been trying to teach me lots of tricks today. I am trying my best
with "Down" but sometimes I forget what I have to do unless there is something
yummy to remind me! Looking forward to more games and treats tomorrow!
